audio design

audio design

As an audio designer, I have composed a wide range of tracks and compositions across multiple genres. One of my ongoing projects involves sampling audio snippets and layering them with original melodies and drumlines. This process has enabled me to experiment with diverse sounds and production techniques, resulting in distinctive, dynamic compositions that expand the boundaries of traditional audio design.

Beyond music, my audio design background strengthens my ability to create immersive, multisensory user experiences. By integrating sound with visual and interactive elements, I enhance storytelling, engagement, and accessibility across multimedia and UX projects.

LIBRARY of CONGRESS PROJECT

The Library of Congress recently released a collection of sounds for musicians to sample and use in their productions. So, I have composed a few pieces using different samples.

ORIGINAL SAMPLE

00:00 / 03:44

The sample is titled "82187r". I sampled the first five seconds. The piano melody stood out to me with a dark dystopian sound, which hints the at the title I chose for my production.

DYSTOPIA

00:00 / 01:42

I used the sample as a foundation to track I composed.

ORIGINAL SAMPLE

00:00 / 00:30

The sample is titled "Allahs-Holiday". I sampled the first four seconds.

HOLY DAY

00:00 / 00:36

I created a snippet from the four second sample.
